Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client team. The successful candidate will interact with IT professional teams in the design, planning, management, implementation, and delivery of technology solutions. As a Project Manager, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer service.
Challenges
-Demonstrate deep understanding of project management methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques.
-Direct, communicate, and exhibit exceptional leadership behaviors to manage effective delivery of services and processes.
-Conduct project planning, execution, controlling, and closing activities in accordance with PMI methodology.
-Ensure effective management throughout the life of engagement, including project planning, scope management, budget management, resource schedule management, risk/issue management, communications management, and quality management.
-Document and share lessons learned to support continuous process improvement.
-Possess functional knowledge of relevant IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and/or Managed Services technologies within the client service portfolio.
-Demonstrate and actively promote an understanding and commitment with organization's values.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field and formal Project Management Training are required.
-5+ years of enterprise-level project management experience, managing Information Technology projects and leading teams.
-5+ years of project management experience in IT Professional Services, IT Infrastructure, Data Center, and/or Managed Services technologies.
-Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, and experience working within Project or Project Portfolio or Workforce Management systems.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is essential.
-CAPM, ITIL, CSM and/or technical certifications.
